So you’re planning on heading to Ibiza? Or curious what it’s like? Wondering if Ibiza is just for partying? Or if you can do anything for rest and relaxation?
Luckily, I went and experienced it for you!
Something to notice, in this itinerary, is the time stamps of when things happened. When staying in a foreign place, country, city, or island like Ibiza, you never know what the flow of life is like until you get there and, to say the least, we were surprised.
When creating the itinerary, I wanted to ensure that we got to experience the partying scene of Ibiza and have a moment to experience a zen-filled excursion – because they have those here too!
Embarrassingly enough, we tried to do a workcation while in Ibiza. Through no fault of Ibiza as a whole, we heard Ibiza Town is very different from where we stayed, but just while staying in just Playa d’en Bossa and spending time in San Antonio, we didn’t even pull our laptops out once. Luckily, Mirabel (my travel companion) and I didn’t have any immediate work needs required of us.
Enjoy this time-stamped journey of our five days in Ibiza in September.

Day 1: Arrival + Sunset Dinner with Views + Pacha
Hotel Check In
3:00 PM I arrived just in time to check in to our hotel, Vibra Bossa Flow. Mirabel arrived shortly before me. We explore the hotel’s pool area and shared spaces. I ordered a lemon drop martini and a light bite of food.
Some guys wandered into the pool area and chatted with us. They invited us to a Summer Rockz white party later that night. We quickly learned that promoters scout people to join their events on the streets and at pools, clubs, and hotels in Ibiza.
Dinner
7:00 PM We headed to Café del Mar for dinner, drinks, and views of the sunset overlooking the San Antonio Bay (Sant Antoni de Portmany). Depending on where you sit, the minimum spend price changes. Expect to pay more for an unobstructed view of the sunset or less for a table a row behind.
Mirabel and I agreed to try as many white sangrias, in Ibiza, as we could. We ordered a pitcher of white sangria at Café del Mar and for dinner, I ordered a gourmet burger with melted cheese and arugula. The sky was cloudy but we saw the vibrant pink and orange hues of the sunset as the clouds passed by. I asked Café del Mar if they had any birthday surprises and they brought me a chocolate mousse cake with a sparkler.
Nightlife
10:00 PM We arrived at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay for the Summer Rockz party. Unfortunately, the DJ played the last song as we walked in and everyone was kicked off the rooftop, but we all moved to the lobby bar. This hotel was luxurious and had a gorgeous pool.
11:30 PM We left for Pacha but arrived too early! They weren’t letting people in yet, so we walked across the street to Versus to pregame.
12:30 PM As we entered Pacha for Bedouin’s set, there was a mime, two giant cheetah sculptures, and tons of people around the DJ Booth. We stayed until 2 AM.
Day 2: Wi-Ki-Woo Brunch + O Beach Ibiza + DC10 Motel Casino
Breakfast
11:00 AM Woke up minutes before our included breakfast at Vibra Bossa Flow ended, but we made it! I made a fruit bowl with honeydew melon, kiwi, peach, and watermelon, and grabbed some scrambled eggs, tomatoes, hash browns, and mini sausages.
Brunch
1:30 PM Returned to San Antonio Bay to go to Wi-Ki-Woo for brunch, or should I say a girl’s dream brunch spot in Ibiza! The space is decorated with a super feminine touch with disco balls, pink and blue chairs, pink umbrellas, and floral arrangements hanging from the ceiling. Eat and stay here if you want a highly aesthetic photo opportunity for your IG feed – it’s sure to make people intrigued. You also have views of the bay.
Mirabel and I ordered the white sangria and a delicious sampler platter with skewers, wraps, and chicken tenders.
Pool Party / Day Club
4:00 PM Right after brunch, we headed to O Beach Ibiza, a popular pool club in Ibiza. We went on Thursday for their ON 111 day when the DJ plays RnB, Hip Hop, UK Garage, and Soulful House. We started in the general section and slowly found our way to VIP. There had to be 100s of people standing around the main pool and dancing. The entertainment was great. There were dancers in the sky, in the center of the pool, and at one point they strolled into the middle of the dance floor on top of a fake police car. They were the ‘Peace Officers.’
After a couple of hours of standing around, we were ready for a seat. If you don’t book a VIP bed, you won’t have any seats available to you. Someone approached Mirabel and invited us to their VIP bed – it’s worth the splurge! We stayed until around 9:30 PM then headed back to Vibra Bossa Flow.
Nightlife
11:00 PM After five hours of non-stop partying, it was time to get ready to go out again. We stopped at Cocos Bar for some food. We became friendly with the promoters, and they gave us free shots before we headed out for the rest of the night.
2:30 AM We ended up at DC10 Ibiza for Motel Casino by Solid Grooves. I had no idea what to expect from this place because it was recommended to us by people we met at O Beach. There were multiple rooms with different DJ sets and an outdoor space for when you needed air because there were so many people packed and crowded inside. Overall, a really fun place to end our night.
Day 3: Relaxed Morning + Yoga + Beach Club + Hï Ibiza
Yoga & Breakfast
9:30 AM Finally ventured to the holistic side of Ibiza and took a morning yoga class at Beachouse Ibiza. This chic beach club and restaurant is right on the water and I was so looking forward to taking this yoga class on the beach. Sadly, it rained that morning so we took our class inside. But after two full days of partying, a moment to relax was so needed and breakfast came included with this experience. I ordered green juice, coffee, and toast with scrambled eggs, lox, and guacamole.
Beach Club / Day Time
2:30 PM While yesterday called for a crazy pool party, today called for a relaxing beach club, Playa Soleil. Mirabel and I listened to the waves of the Mediterranean crash onto the shore. And of course, we ordered a pitcher of white sangria. We stayed until they closed around 6 PM.
7:00 PM Hungry, we walked along the strip and into Restaurante Moorea for dinner. They had outdoor seating, barbecue-style food, and wine.
Nightlife
11:30 PM While walking along the strip, we were invited to come to Baloo Ibiza for some drinks. This was the start of my birthday festivities so we asked them if they had anything special. They handed me a sparkler at midnight!
1:00 AM A quick stop at Cocos Bar and they gave me a margarita.
3:00 AM We arrived for our main event of the night, Future Rave at Hï Ibiza. David Guetta was supposed to have a DJ set there tonight but we ended up listening to so many other amazing DJs. Hï Ibiza was rated as the number-one club in the world in 2023, so visiting this club was an experience in itself. In the Theater, Meduza & James Hype were on, and in the Club Room, Mark Knight & Genesi. The effects were absolutely crazy. Vibes and energy were up. Time was a blur. We left somewhere around 5 AM.
Day 4: Trip to Formentera + Sweet Treat + Pacha
Today we celebrated my birthday! I wrote about it in detail here, How I Spent My Birthday in Ibiza, here’s a snapshot of it.
Ibiza Boat Party
11:15 AM Mirabel and I hurriedly got ready, to make it on time, for our boarding on the Ibiza Boat Party to Formentera. We enjoyed a day of eating, drinking, and sailing on the Mediterranean Sea on this all-inclusive boat experience to Formentera. We spent time on the beach, eating at El Pirata, swimming, and dancing. This full-day experience was a truly unforgettable way to spend my birthday.
A Late Night Sweet Treat
10:30 PM Strolled the streets back to our hotel and wandered into The Bull Restaurant, where the chef made me a delicious sweet treat for my birthday and sang Happy Birthday to me.
Nightlife
2:30 AM Back to Pacha for Masquerade! As three-day veterans of the Ibiza nightlife experience, we knew we didn’t have to go out until way later into the night. When we arrived, the club was in full swing and Hugel was DJing. We got a selfie with him at the end of his set.

Day 5: Vibra Bossa Flow + Destino Pacha + Restaurante Carousel + SWAG Ibiza
Our last full day in Ibiza!
11:00 AM Started the morning with breakfast at Vibra Bossa Flow. This time I waited in line for a freshly cooked egg, sausage, and fruit. Then, I lounged in the pool area, basking in the sun, and maneuvering between the pool floats and lounge chairs. I ordered a Pĩna Colada and a chicken sandwich.
7:30 PM Overlooking our balcony, Mirabel and I raised a glass of champagne and toasted our last night in Ibiza.
9:00 PM We went to another Summer Rockz event at Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort for a black party. There were contortionists and fire dancers in the middle of the dance floor. We didn’t stay long.
10:00 PM After passing Restaurante Carousel nearly every day of our trip, we took the opportunity to go in. We couldn’t sit at the carousel because we didn’t have a reservation, but we were seated in a very beautifully lit area.
We both ordered the Porn Star Martini (vodka, passion fruit, lime, and vanilla), and I ordered a burger with fries.
We had no plans for the night but in true Ibiza fashion, promoters came up to us in the restaurant and invited us to go to SWAG Ibiza. Stopped at our pre-game spot, Coco Ibiza, for the last time and made the quick walk over to SWAG.
1:00 AM We walked into the middle of La Tribu del Safari at SWAG for their reggaeton night. This night was such a refresher after hearing dubstep and beat drops on repeat for days in a row – nothing wrong with it, but it was nice to have music to move your hips to again! I realized I hadn’t swayed my hips at all during this trip – except maybe at O Beach.
3:00 AM Made it back to our hotel for the last time. There was no point in sleeping because I had an early morning flight and clubs were open late, I had to make the most of my time. I left for the airport at 5 AM.
Remembering my experience in Ibiza makes me feel so nostalgic and ready to return! I hope this sample itinerary helps you plan your trip to Ibiza: where to go, manage your time and expectations, and enjoy yourself when you arrive!
