Restaurants and bars are finally making their mocktails as creative as their cocktails.
Whether you’re sober, taking a break from drinking, or just doesn’t want an alcoholic beverage, these restaurants in Connecticut are serving up non-alcoholic cocktails on their regular menus.
Gone are the days where you have to order a regular cocktail with no alcohol. These mocktails are well thought out and have taste profiles that are sure to make you want more and you don’t have to worry about drinking too much!
Here is a list of restaurants where you can find creative craft mocktails in Connecticut:
1. Le Mazet
Location: West Hartford, CT
Le Mazet is a new French comfort restaurant in West Hartford, CT. Their cocktail menu includes options for sans alcohol (zero proof) and apéros (low alcohol) cocktails.
Currently they have three drinks on their low alcohol menu with an aperitif and the others with fruity flavors. The two sans alcohol cocktails are infused with tea flavors.
I tried the Champagne Oolong Spritz. It was tasty and unexpected.
Sans Alcohol Drink Options: 3
Low Alcohol Drink Options: 2
2. The Charles
Location: Wethersfield, CT
Set in a grand 1790s historic home, The Charles is full of New England charm or like their website says, “Vintage feel. Modern taste.”
I tried both a cocktail and a mocktail here. I wanted a second drink but another alcoholic beverage just would not do – so I opted for their, Momma Said Mock You Out mocktail.
The Charles’ Mocktail menu is almost as big as their cocktail menu with 9 options including craft mocktails and non alcoholic wines and beers.
Mocktail Drink Options: 9
As I explore more of Connecticut’s restaurant offerings, more places will be added to this list. And I’m sure the mocktails will be just as scrumptious.
